Pair Camera is a local remote camera app for two nearby iPhones. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.

Data collection

Pair Camera does not require an account and does not collect personal information for advertising, tracking, or resale.

Photos, videos, and preview frames

Photos, videos, thumbnails, and preview frames are processed for the camera session on the devices you choose. Pair Camera does not upload them to a company-operated cloud service by default.

Local network and pairing

The app may use local network discovery, pairing codes, or QR codes to connect your devices. Pairing information is used to establish the session and should not be shared with people you do not trust.

Permissions

Camera access is used to capture photos or scan a pairing QR code. Microphone access is used only when you choose video recording with audio. Local Network access is used for nearby device discovery and communication. Photos access is used to save media when you ask the app to do so.

Diagnostics

Release builds are designed to avoid logging photo or video content, permanent pairing secrets, or unnecessary device identifiers.

Children

Pair Camera is a general utility app and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect children's personal information.

Changes

If future versions add accounts, cloud services, analytics, advertising, or paid features, this policy will be updated before those features are used.
